Vitra Coffee Table - Walnut

The Vitra Coffee Table by Isamu Noguchi brings the designer’s sculptural approach into the home through an expressive combination of solid form and flowing curves. Originally conceived as a piece of functional sculpture, its distinctive silhouette has made it an enduring example of twentieth-century furniture design.

Two interlocking wooden elements form the base, positioned at right angles to create a stable yet visually dynamic foundation. Above, a substantial 1.9 cm glass top follows an organic, free-flowing outline, allowing the structure beneath to remain fully visible and become an integral part of the table’s character.

Presented here in walnut, the natural grain and depth of the timber introduce warmth beneath the transparent glass surface. Its generous proportions make it particularly suited to anchoring a living room seating arrangement, while the open construction helps maintain a sense of space around surrounding furniture.
