HAY Shim Coffee Table - Custard, high : 51cm

Designed by Jonas Trampedach for HAY, the Shim Coffee Table turns a simple occasional table into a distinctive architectural feature. Its circular top is supported by three precisely formed legs, creating a graphic silhouette that feels considered from every angle.

Made from fully welded, powder-coated steel, the table has a reassuringly solid construction while retaining a crisp, uncluttered profile. The cut-and-bent leg design gives the piece its individual character, introducing angular geometry beneath the smooth round tabletop.

This taller 51 cm version is finished in Custard, bringing a soft, creamy yellow tone to the steel construction. Its compact 45 cm diameter makes it particularly useful beside a sofa or armchair, where it can provide an accessible surface without occupying excessive floor space.

With its combination of colour, geometry and durable materials, the Shim works equally well as a functional side table or as a standalone design accent within contemporary living spaces.
